    Dear John ,

    I m french And I would like your opinion about my médical issues .
    I have sibo , and my gallbader out since 5 years , but problem begining before .
    I have bile malabsorption , and pruritus . I try to test ursodésoxycholic acid , but I have big diarrhea with it and pruritus increase.
    I would like to try bile acid supplement but I m à little afraid about possible négative effect .
    Did you think it s good think to try and did you have any tips to begining ? ( dosage , meal time , …)

      Pruritus is usually a symptom of liver damage (the bile acids flow through the blood instead of being excreted into the small intestine). If you had gallstones the chances of bad liver are real.

      I would not take Ox bile but first I would try lecithin for liver support and to dissolve possible cholesterol and fats stored in the liver.

      Then maybe artichoke tea (leaf extract), maybe this will be less intense than Ursodeoxycholic acid.

      B-complex, iodine, magnesium,…are basic supplements for liver function.
