Betaine HCL – Supplements for Psoriasis II. – The Best Supplement for Many Psoriatics!

Every psoriatic who never tried this supplement should give it a try. The studies confirmed that many chronic illnesses are accompanied by the low stomach acid. Enough stomach acid is an extremely critical factor for overall health. Everything what you eat is not actually in your body until it goes through stomach (where the pathogens are meant to be killed by the stomach acid) and the nutrients are subsequently absorbed in the intestines. Ideally you stomach should have the pH about 1-3, however our modern diet depletes the stomach juices and high refined carbohydrate foods are a big enemy for your digestion.

Since the stomach acid production is very dependent on B-complex vitamins, zinc (and functional adrenal glands) it is very important to supplement these nutrients. If somebody is deficient in any of these the problems will come up. As the stomach acid production is decreasing the stomach becomes more alkaline and the opportunistic bacterium like H. Pylori may colonize it. H. Pylori is known to be able to suppress the HCL production so it is the vicious cycle and the longer you are in it the harder for body to restart the sufficient HCL production.

When you supplement with Betaine HCL your body gets incredible health support in the form of Betaine which is a great methyl donor (helps methylation – gene expression, production of enzymes, detoxification, etc.) and HCL kills the bacteria in the stomach. It is well known that many chronically ill people have their stomach colonized with bacteria which should be normally exist in the intestines only.

Betaine HCL doesn’t affect just your stomach it activate the whole digestive process (pancreas, liver). First it will clear the stomach of the pathogens, subsequently the HCL will stimulate the pancreas to produce the digestive enzymes which helps to digest the food (as a result improve the food allergies), also the enzymes are absorbed into the blood where they helps the body to dissolve the blood clots (microclots) which in my opinion play a big role in development of psoriasis plaques. Also the liver is stimulated to produce the bile salts what will kill the bacteria in the small intestine (bile acids are important in healing the leaky gut) and it is also the way liver uses to pump out the toxins out of it. Now when you know how this process works it is easy to get rid of psoriasis, isn’t it? Add to the regimen the quality fish oilomega 3 fatty acids – 3 grams a day, vitamin D3, zinc, high quality b-complex and probiotics and you will be amazed how easy it is to send your psoriasis away!

Many of the psoriatics have so low stomach acid that they can take over the 10 capsules per meal (I do not recommend that!) and never experience the stomach pain. For everybody without the stomach ulcers or similar stomach problem Betaine HCL might be the right supplement.

For first time when you take Betaine HCL you should try one capsule with meal and if you don’t experience any pain in the stomach then take two capsules with the another meal and continually raise the number of capsules you take if you never experience the pain. At maximum you shouldn’t take more capsules per meal than about 5 (15 a day). However I would recommend to stay with at maximum 3 capsules per meal with every one of the three meals (9 capsules a day). After the two-three weeks you should see an improvement in psoriasis and in 4-8 weeks many skin patches should be away as you can see in my before and after photos.

You even don’t have to be on a gluten free diet and still you can say goodbye to the worst stage of your psoriasis and heal your skin.

I can recommend you the Betaine HCL from NOW Foods since it is a great quality for the value.

I was surprised when an acupuncturist recommended Betaine HCl to me. My psoriasis had been getting worse and worse (I’ve had it for more than 25 years), and it was stressing me out to the point that I was about to try anything. Normally, I stick to natural medicine, but I was on the verge of signing up for the expensive toxic Western meds as a last resort. As a last ditch effort, I started on Betaine HCl (Nature’s Life brand, 648 mg, 3 per meal), and I guess it’s been a couple of months now. My skin began to clear within a couple of weeks, and I’m not completely clear, but I’m getting there. The only other thing I’ve been taking consistently is Chaga Mushroom (Host Defense brand, 4 caps per day), which is also supposed to be helpful. I figure it can’t hurt to stay on both. The mushrooms are antioxidant/DNA support, and I had read studies about their positive effect on psoriasis. The key with the mushrooms, I’ve been told, is to take them 5 days a week and take 2 days off. But the HCl is something I take with every meal and snack. It’s inexpensive and — I can’t believe I am saying this — it WORKS! After all these years of hiding my skin and feeling ugly, I can finally feel comfortable in my skin (literally!). I’m so happy I found this supplement. It sounds too simple to be true, but it totally worked for me!

I started taking HCI last week. I don’t get the burning feeling all the blogs talk about, but I do get air hunger if I take 3 tablets. I don’t get it at 2 tablets but I also don’t get the burning feeling at 2, so I’m not sure it’s enough. I do get a bit bloated after about half an hour, so it’s doing something for sure. Any thoughts?
